Most of us experience jealous feelings for at least a few moments in the course of our lives. Some of us feel jelousy frequently. Shifting such a habit to an emotion that feels better not only is its own reward (to feel better) but may also facilitate our getting “what we want” more readily. Please read about one example to see how it can work.
Story of Lyra

Lyra is married to Kyle. Both partners attract attention with each’s good looks and friendly personalities. Lyra has often felt a stab of jealousy as Kyle chats with another woman.
From inside that jealousy state of mind, L envisioned her husband rejecting her, making her lesser, causing her pain, feeling hurt and angry.
Shift is Possible
But wait! We always possess the power to bring to us what we DO Want. How do we get to that from jealousy?
Our heroine embarked on a journey of changing her habits and building an inner steady keel. She enjoyed noticing and valuing her strengths and allowing her love to flow out both to herself and others, as one loves a newborn.
New Skill Popped Up
Before too long L had this new train of thought. While Kyle chatted with the woman by phone, the Star thought, “Wouldn’t it be neat if I enjoyed that woman too! Look at me I have so much wisdom to share with this younger woman. There is a win-win possible: I see it!”

Next day, this dear woman had a quality conversation with K. Feeling good together, the two created a newer tone. Approaching with a kind, attentive demeanor, this couple decided to tell each other their dreams. L had begun her process of feeling more loved in herself and then this communication brought more of it to her. She felt loved and supported!
Relapse
Lyra experienced moments of strong jealousy as she changed. She felt her habits spike at times and she inspired herself to keep going.
Positives Show Up
Experiencing new positive flow, Lyra sought out flowers and found them easily. She thought,” I have created the circumstances provoking my jealousy and I can change what I envision!”
- In mere hours, the “other woman” contacted L for a walk. This person wanted to get to know Lyra better. L wanted that contact and presto change there it happened.
- The inner work shifting her perspective was paying off and so quickly! L had a great talk with the new friend, sharing some wisdom that both enjoyed enormously[JP1] . Lyra felt elated!

- Persist and reach for inspiration
- As you declare you want change, more opportunities to change may arise. This speeds your learning process.
- Your increased awareness supports the changing process.
- As the thoughts become more positive, more of what is wanted appears as if by magic.
