Landscape Gallery: Janet Pearlman Paintings

Beginning in 2012 Janet began changing her style of painting from that of the flying figure pieces to those of landscape. With that, she dropped adding texture on the canvas.  All pieces created since use in acrylic paint on canvas.

A taste of Janet’s process for landscape pieces from an artist statement:

“For most of us scenes of nature can evoke feelings of connectedness to relaxation and wholeness. As I gaze upon the landscape, I tune into the beauty and vitality that arises.

Impulses flow; I put down color, stroke and mark. I listen, and receive inspiration for the next stroke. Painting proceeds with moments of rest, applying layers. I refocus, look and feel into each stage of the developing work. My painting process teaches me about living:  I am shown what to do, given what I need.”

Most of these paintings are for sale, priced as marked. As you resonate with a specific piece, please contact Janet to discuss a purchase.
