Self-Support During Couple Dispute

When one member of a couple experiences deep hurt, that person can want out of a relationship. Commonly, we humans react in blaming the other for causing the hurt feeling. (The other guy is at fault.) What if the other member of the couple does not accept the blame nor attack in response.

Leadership By Modeling Composure and Kindness

When we embody our values of kindness and respect, we show others the behavior we want without preaching about it.  Others can feel it and emulate with dignity and enthusiasm. Ernest Holmes stated this:

Appreciation Substitutes Worry

We can notice what we do not want and ruminate about it. Unfortunately,  reviewing what is unwanted only draws more of it to us! Oh No! Instead, we can employ the power of our focus to appreciate what we perceive and want more of.

A Focus on Good Has Pay Off

“Mess with me and I fight back! Put up your Dukes!”  No, we can choose a focus on Goodness instead. Let’s read about how such an attitude plays out.

Choosing Our Language with Care

We promote our Well Being in so many aspects of caring for ourselves. Here we emphasize how we speak about a bodily condition. Do we take care to describe a temporary condition that pops up while our Well Being is always pouring down, around and through? Does our language acknowledge how easily we return to harmonious state?

Prayer for Healing Answered

According to Neville Goddard in his work “Feeling is the Secret,” the best way to receive what we want when we pray is to feel as though we already have it. We are advised to immerse ourselves in the feeling quality of that desired thing (or condition) as we focus in prayer.
“Feeling the reality of the state sought and living and acting on that conviction is the way of all seeming miracles.”[1]

Getting Past Pop-Up Fear

We can find ourselves afraid of what happens to someone else. Let’s reframe those thoughts as we notice them.

Trust the Healed Self

We want to remain vigilant on our past habit of thought. We review that we don’t want to do that “abd” thing again. Except that means we are focusing on what we do NOT want more than on wanted.
At some point after years of practice, what if we lean more heavily on assuming we are ok to trust ourselves. We have invested in a “new ME,” in gaining confidence and in reliably aligning with Forces of Good.
